Iddling Throttle unstable with my 1600

[b]Hi guys .I have a 1600i engine .For 6 months I am trying to fix a throttle problem with the car and i cannot find solutions please HELP. The engine is unstable runs up to 1000 round per minute and them quickly slow down to 800 and back to 1000 rpm again in a second .Happens when I turn AC on. This is what I have done on it so far:
I have changed the iddling valve (new)
I have switched the computer module
I have Changed battery
I have changed the tps (new)
reviewed the all electric system include alternator
not a bit of hope , no amelioration , if you have any idea what may be the cause please post it . I am desperate

did you replaced the "ECU" relay also? Note the following link!

Hi ed8widge,

Do you have a VAG 1551/1552, VAS 5051/5052/5053 or a laptop running VAG-COM with the VAG-COM cable ?

Without that, erasing faults from the fault memory let alone putting the ECU into basic settings mode would be impossible.

When you changed the ECU, have you put the ECU into basic mode settings whilst the engine is running at idle speed ?

Also, which version of the ECU is it ? The D and E versions of the ECU sometimes rev the engine up and down to reduce emissions at idle speed.

Another thing to check for (I spotted this on my car) are cracked vacuum pipes. One of the vacuum pipes was so brittle it literally snapped into small bits as soon as I touched it !!
