Need Help Please -- Fuse Location for ECU

Greetings To All:

The vehicle in question is a year 2000 Mexican Beetle with EFI.

A couple of days ago, I was driving this vehicle when the alternator belt broke and whipped around knocking out 2 wires leading to the air mast sensor plug.

I have since replaced the belt and repaired the plug, but the vehicle no longer starts up.

I am suspecting that when the air sensor plug wires were knocked loose, they may have shorted out and blown the fuse for the ECU.

I have checked all of the fuses under the dash and they are in good shape.

I do not have a wiring diagram for this vehicle and was wondering if anyone could confirm where the ECU fuse is located.

...Could it possibly be located inside the ECU itself??? Or is this a "sealed unit"???

Inside the ecu is no fuse.

There are only the fuses under the dash and 1 additional fuse in the trunk, direct next to the fuel pump relay 30.

Is the fuel pump activated when you turn the key? If not, it's either this fuse or a defect hall sensor in the distributor.

You can check, wether the ecu has power or not. The 3-pin connector for the throttle has ground and 5V. Check this. And the distributor connector ground and 10-12V.
