Hi!
I have a doubt about Digifant system. In other efi system, like Motronic or L-Jetronic, the ECU recives the signal from a sensor located near the crankshaft pulley for read crankshaft position and rpm
I'm not sure but... where is located this sensor in our VW engines? I'm think position signal is done by Hall Sender and rpm signal from Ignition Module.
Thanks!

Hiya Fernando,
The Digiplus ECU can only gets it's engine speed information from the hall sender since there are no other rotation related sensors on it.
When I looked at my "1600i Engine Mechanics" VW booklet (I think Manfred can confirm this as well), the 1600i engine its self is practically the same as a 1600 carburettor engine except for most of the ancillaries (the oil cooler, fan housing, alternator stand and alternator are the same as the carburettor engine) and the cylinder heads.
